Not Returning to Rocklin Academy or Moving Over the Summer? If your student is NOT returning to Rocklin Academy for the 2014/2015 school year, please contact Donna Walsh, Registrar at 916-778-4544 ext 703. It is very important to notify us if you decide to changes schools before the end of the school year, both for our records, as well as to ensure the new school receives all student files prior to the start of the new school year. Also, if you will be moving, please keep us updated with new contact information as soon as possible.

Thank You for a Fantastic Field Day! Than you to all our volunteers that helped make Field Day a huge success! All the students had a great time splashing and running around (and we won't mention the kickball game.) A special thank you goes to Mandy Boungnasiri and Angela Shimp, the Field Day coordinators, who worked endless hours to ensure everything was in place. Also, thank you to all our amazing parent who helped organize before the event and those who volunteered during the event. Thank you for all you do for our students.

Art Docent Fundraiser-Please Protect Our Program!

Art Docent Fundraiser-Please Protect Our Program! Our amazing art docent program only raised about 40% of its intended goal during its Core Knowledge Night fundraising drive. To give everyone the opportunity to support this critical program at our campus, we are extending the deadline to order posters until Thursday, May 29 (donations can be made at any time). Forms are attached at the end of the Wednesday Weekly. Please support this educational, kid favorite program. Our goal is $15 per child to continue the program at the high quality level it has operated. That's less than $2 per lesson for supplies!
Parent Collaboration Forum-RAFOS Special Education Department
As a valued parent in the RAFOS community, you are invited to attend a forum on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 to learn about and discuss the special education program that serves our schools. The department has seen much growth and change this year and will continue to evolve this coming school year. Your attendance and participation in the Parent Collaboration Forum will allow you the opportunity to provide feedback and/or discuss with other parents and administrators the direction the program will take. We are excited to involve your input as we make decisions in the best interests of our students and their education. The evening will be facilitated by Phil Spears, Executive Director/Superintendent/Interim Director of Special Education.
