We are excited to share that our schools received positive feedback about the In Focus curriculum from parents who attended the Parent Academy in February. Many expressed how wonderful it was to have this offered to our students in order to help them with their understanding of their social emotional growth. This week through the end of April, K- 5 classes will be looking at ways to resolve conflict and will be practicing responses to conflict. Then, they will begin working on team building which can lead into a class service project. What a great opportunity to show teamwork and compassion for others! Our 6th graders are working on self-care and believing in themselves. They are also discussing ways to deal with stress effectively and finding strategies for resisting negative peer pressure. 6th grade will also delve into service projects as they approach the end of April! We are looking forward to what our classes develop and share as they become compassionate citizens within their school environment and the greater world.
